As blogs we have written in the past have dictated, skin type determines everything… especially when it comes to the application of make up. But imagine the favor you are doing your skin when you take a brief hiatus from the cosmetics and the alleviation you are granting your pores when doing this.
There should always at least be a couple times out of the week you give your face a chance to bare its o’naturale essentials.
How To Maintain Your Natural Looking Radiance
If you want to have the best of both worlds maintaining a radiant complexion, but don’t want to smother it with caked-on make up, there are ways to apply make up in order to make it appear natural.
- Remember to always moisturize your face with a fragrance free lotion so it won’t aggravate the skin. A tinted moisturizer can also be used to substitute foundation. These tinted moisturizers blend in with the skin tone and even it out.
- Next, just simply use concealer to hide any blemishes or dark spots around the eyes. Applying concealer before foundation helps keep the foundation to a minimal amount. Make sure to apply concealer directly on the spot to avoid a halo effect. Set this in with a beige powder.
- Make sure to test that the foundation is the correct blend for your skin by seeing it in a natural light. And blend in thoroughly with your ring finger so any harsh lines are absent such as around your jaw line. Applying bronzer as a finishing touch, but correctly, will add a nice, soft glow.
- Blush is also another natural accent that it can give to the face. Creme blush works better to provide a softer and dewier look. Blend this into your cheekbones using your ring finger.
